Future Events

The Philosophy Cafe in Alford on Wednesday 13th June will be informative with opportunities for question and answer sessions as well as some discussion. The session will be led by Juliette Mitchell and is entitled "Landscapes of the Dead in Pictland" so should be a very interesting evening.

We are also planning a special summer event entitled "Solve that Crime". This will take place on Saturday 18th August at the Garioch Heritage Centre in Inverurie so put the date in your diaries. We will have some crime scenarios for you to discuss and solve and there will also be input on real life detection techniques from a former member of the police force.

Programme of Events Spring 2018

The Philosophy Cafe returns this spring with a series of new topics to extend our thinking and encourage discussion on such diverse topics as Language, Numbers, Food,Learning and the Picts. We hope to see all our regular supporters as well as new friends who might be encouraged to come along. Be assured that no prior knowledge of any of the topics is required and any discussion will take place in small informal groups where you can voice your own opinions or just listen to the opinions of others. No pressure.
